Music is what I do. Since the age of 11, I knew I wanted to be a musician. Fast forward to now, and I'm a professional musician, artist and tutor. At Tetlow Music Tuition, I bring all these years of live performance and studio experience directly to you. So that you can learn from a seasoned pro.
I believe that you never stop learning music, that's what makes it so exciting. That being said I have a BA (hons) degree in Music Composition, a BTEC National Diploma in Popular Music and a GCSE in Music. Qualifications are great, but where you really learn music is on the stage playing with others! My goal with your tuition will be to make you a competent gig ready performer.
Learning one instrument wasn't enough growing up, so I decided to learn two! Guitar and drums, oh and I also sing! What this means for you is that you get a tutor who understands the language of music. So on top of making you an awesome instrumentalist, I can teach you music theory. This means that you can play well with other musicians.
I’m so pleased to be able to invite you into my dedicated music studio for teaching. I created this studio as a place to inspire musical creativity and help maintain focus. As a professional musician and artist, this is where I spend most of my time creating and developing musical projects & teaching. You may have noticed that I have a LOT of guitars (you can never have too many!), and a top of the range Roland TD25 drum kit which you will be learning drums on. If you can’t meet me in person then I also offer online lessons via Skype. I use the top of the range video and audio equipment, so you know that you are getting the best online experience.
